'Gardening is healing': Beauty in bloom at Buffalo's East Side Garden Walk

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo's East Side Garden Walk returned for its eighth year on Saturday. The self-guided event featured more than 100 gardens.
"The East Side Garden Walk in itself is all about community building, and that's what gardening does," co-chair Veronal Moody said. "This is my love offering to the City of Buffalo and my community. Gardening is healing. Gardening is an opportunity to give back to the neighborhood that I live in."
The East Side Garden Walk continued on Sunday as well.
