Volunteer
be a part of transforming our region through gardens
It takes many volunteers to plan, coordinate, publicize, organize, and staff the many events hosted by Gardens Buffalo Niagara. These events include Garden Walk Buffalo, East Side Garden Walk, the Garden Art Sale, Urban Farm Day, the Tour of Open Gardens, and more! If you are interested in meeting and working toward the region’s renaissance—and want to help make Buffalo Niagara a premier garden destination—please consider volunteering for Gardens Buffalo Niagara in some capacity. Please contact us any time by emailing Volunteers@GardensBuffaloNiagara.com. We could use your help with:
Garden Art Sale
Help make the Garden Art Sale at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens a success by volunteering to assist with setup and teardown, support vendors, answer visitor questions, help with raffles, and sell merchandise!
Juneteenth
We will be tabling at Juneteenth on June 14 and 15, publicizing the East Side Garden Walk. Please join us!
East Side Garden Walk
Tasks include handing out maps, answering visitor questions, and selling merchandise. Volunteers will also set up the headquarters location and tear down on Sunday afternoon. The headquarters will be at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park—close to Fillmore and North Parade.
Garden Walk Buffalo
America’s Largest Garden tour needs some extra hands! Volunteer tasks include handing out maps, answering visitors questions, and selling merchandise. Volunteers will also set up the headquarters locations and tear down on Sunday afternoon. This year’s headquarters are at Canisius High School, St. Marks School, and West Side Community Services.
