Frequently Asked Questions

  • Don’t try to see everything in one day. Grab a map and pick one neighborhood to explore first. If you need guidance, stop by any of our Headquarters locations during the event—volunteers are happy to help.

  • You’ll find a wide variety of lodging options through Visit Buffalo Niagara. Book early—our garden walks are popular!

  • We recommend leaving dogs at home. While dogs are allowed on public sidewalks, most gardeners do not allow animals on their private property.

  • If you donated and are expecting a printed map, you should receive it by July 17. If it hasn’t arrived by then, email us at info@gardensbuffaloniagara.com.

  • Free parking is available near all Headquarters locations and on most city streets. Just be sure to follow posted parking regulations.

  • Public restrooms are not provided by gardeners. We recommend using restrooms at restaurants, coffee shops, or headquarters where available.

East Side Garden Walk: Great options are available along Jefferson Ave—and we’ve printed a list of East Side restaurants right on the map!
